Over-sharing.

We are all SO connected aren’t we. Like, really, seriously CONNECTED. If we’re not with each other, then we’re tweeting, texting, calling, Skyping, IM’ing or Facebooking.

Are you exhausted? I’m exhausted.

My phone ran out of battery for 10 minutes yesterday. TEN. Just 10 minutes. I fidgeted and paced and huffed and puffed.

Less than five years ago I was OK with being apart from my devices, I didn’t NEED to be plugged in 24/7. Paul Lewis from the Guardian said recently that as human’s we go full circle. Like, when woolly tights and polo necks and flares that come back in fashion (he didn’t say that, I did) but it’s true. I reckon we’re going to go back in time soon.

Chilling out on our own and not being so over-connected might be next to come back in fashion. When the unfamiliar becomes cool again. Retro always wins in the end.

Because at the moment, we are all (electronically) sitting on eachother’s laps.

Hey you. Ever heard of personal space?
