Let’s not forget to read
If you are spending a lot of time whizzing around various social media platforms (like me), drifting in and out of log-ins and clicking on a thousand things at once, you’re probably just digesting short bursts of information and skim reading.
It’s important to make time to sit down and read something slowly, so that you are focused and it is going into your brain for safe-keeping.
Websites such as Pinterest are not helping us digest important information. It’s increasing our lazy consumption in just looking at things (and not doing anything with it), feeding our hunger to be entertained in short periods of time and kind of turning us into carrrier pigeons. Instead let’s do stuff, buy stuff, make stuff.
