Oxfam Get Together: the cool kids are doing it
I love love love Lauren Laverne, Grace Dent and Cherry Healey. They’re so sassy and cool and funny. Oh, and they love Twitter. Which automatically makes them brilliant, obviously.
They’re all social ambassadors for the Oxfam Get Together campaign which basically means planning something fun for International Women’s Day on March 8th: a ‘Get-together’ to raise money to support women living in poverty worldwide.
Chill out with your best gal pals AND do something for charity. It’s a winner.
The majority of people living in poverty are women. Get Together raises money for Oxfam’s work transforming the lives of women around the world who are experiencing poverty, discrimination, domestic violence and a lack of education. Oxfam helps women reclaim their rights and make their voices heard; from helping girls access schools in Burkina Faso to supporting women farmers in Ethiopia to become entrepreneurs and provide for their families.
Let’s all Get Together on March 8th and do it.
