You guys know that I don’t do giveaways that often, and when I do, its because I believe the prize is BLOODY BLIMMIN’ AMAZING.
The team behind the Baileys Women’s Prize have very kindly given me two tickets to give away to ONE winner so that they can bring along a plus one.
What’s the event, you ask?
WELL, on 2nd November the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction will host a star-studded special 20th anniversary event; Best of the Best Live, at London’s Piccadilly Theatre, celebrating the winning books from the last ten years.
(I’M GOING TOO AND I’M SO EXCITED).
The event will be hosted by Co-founder of the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction and bestselling novelist, Kate Mosse, and will see award-winning actors including Stanley Tucci and Sheila Hancock, read from each of the winning novels of the past decade.
The ten Chairs of judges from the second decade including Joanna Trollope, Bettany Hughes and Shami Chakrabarti, will come together to discuss the books culminating in the announcement of their “Best of the Best” book of the last ten years.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary, I’m are offering one lucky reader a pair of tickets to Best of the Best Live. Also a set of the winning books from the past decade and a bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream
(also: a selection of Baileys cocktail recipes and a set of beautiful limited-edition Baileys glasses to toast the 20th anniversary.)
