Breaking social media news.
Big Social Media news right here, right now.
The Dolphin Pub, famous for it’s 6am finishes, East End location, cheap beer and most of all it’s ridiculously good playlists, is quite the unique haunt. Organically branded as the ‘post-night-out-hang’, it is the finish line for many a tipsy east londoner.
The great thing about this hilarious venue is how well it translates online, the ‘voice’ of the Dolphin Pub on Twitter dishing out the jokes and updating Dolphin fans on the late night party schedules. Anyone that follows this account will know that it is laugh-out-loud hilarious, and intriguingly anonymous.
Garnering nearly 5,000 followers in just a few months, and creating the popular hashtag #Dolphinbreakfast, people come far and wide to visit Mare Street in the hope to spot the shining social media star behind @the_dolphin_pub. He’s got a keyboard and he’s not afraid to use it.
And it just got better. When I say Mr Dolphin is ‘The Voice’ – I mean it, quite literally. Said Mr Dolphin has just been christened as the new Twitter guy for the upcoming BBC TV show The Voice. Get on board and follow his wit and charm on @BBCTheVoiceUK – he promises to be less filthy there. You’ll have to check in to The Dolphin for that.
